malibu light,
 Â
this light is sturdy and bright, but I wish that its wire were longer. I had to splice a piece of wire in order to connect it to the power source, which was not very far away. Otherwise, it is a great product at an affordable price. Plus, it showed up the day after I ordered it.

|Great Light, Horrible Options,
 Â
I have 5 of these and will be getting another 1 or 2 to complete my set-up. The lights are well made, sturdy and have good flexibility for adjustment. I like that the hooded cover for the light can be mounted at 3 different angles. However, if you don’t want to use the stake and put them in the ground you better come up with another way of mounting them. Only a stake is included with the light. That is why it only gets 3 stars. I am on the side of a hill and need to mount them to a wooden deck. I used a plastic pipe nipple, cut with a slot for the wire, and a pipe flange for mounting. The nipple was only 39 cents, but the flange was 5 dollars, it adds up. Also the connector does not disconnect easily. If you want to change the light to a new location there is a good probability that you will break the connector and need a new one. I was able to secure my broken connection with a small zip tie. Make sure you get your placement right the first time… LOL

|corrosion problems,

Where the two pieces join and lock together, the area is prone to corrosion that literally locks the two together and cannot be separated. Using a small ratchet handle, I was able to separate them by tapping around the side of the light, thus breaking the corrosion and then I used white lithium grease to prevent further corrosion from occuring.
